Remote Continuous Power Supply for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Enabled by Sb 2 (S,Se) 3 ‐CsPbBr 3 Hybrid Perovskite Laser Cells
ABSTRACT All‐inorganic CsPbBr 3 with exceptional resistance to heat and irradiation is a promising candidate for perovskite laser cells (PLCs) in laser wireless power transmission systems. This study optimized CsPbBr 3 ‐based PLCs by incorporating Sb 2 (S,Se) 3 as modifiers, thereby improving the crystallinity and compactness of the CsPbBr 3 film. The structural and phase stability of CsPbBr 3 was also enhanced owing to the anchoring effects of Pb─S and Pb─Se within the Sb 2 (S,Se) 3 ‐CsPbBr 3 structure. Finally, under 520 nm laser irradiation at 0.6 W·cm −2 , the champion device (Sb 2 (S,Se) 3 ‐CsPbBr 3 ‐based PLCs, S‐PLC) achieves a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 35.93%. When exposed to an incident power density of 1.8 W·cm −2 , the S‐PLC with an active area of 2.66 cm 2 produces a power output of 1.54 W. In a comparative endurance test, the rotational speed of LiPo battery‐powered motor decreased to 40% of its initial output in less than 2 min, whereas the S‐PLC sustained its initial thrust for over 15 min. This highlights the superior endurance of our S‐PLC devices for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) power supply. Building on the champion PLC, we developed two types of UAVs and established a real‐world test scenario to verify the practical feasibility of CsPbBr 3 ‐based PLCs for powering various UAVs.
